I think it was Courigans where I watched part of the race (the end) last year. The city and or race officials had erected a screen of some type to block the view from the bar and it mysteriously came down Friday night- happily allowing the folks sitting on the outside patio to watch the race while drinking Guiness out of plastic cups. I had a ticket to the race but while walking around I saw how much fun it looked to be at a bar with front row seating and my curiosity got the best of me.
Its certainly not the same as that Chinese restaurant view of the Mulsanne, but where else can you do this? LB, Detroit and Houston are my first thoughts but have never been.
