Weight adjustments for GT-2, including Panoz, Riley C-6, AM Vantage and Doran Ford GT.

There's a slippery slope.

So, if the "factory" AM GT1 team were to return (hypothetically) would they also receive this competition adjustment? See where I'm going here?

In GT2, I can "maybe" see it with new entries/chassis - but the Panoz?

Oh well...

I know that they're IMSA and all, but how does the Vantage qualify for a performance adjustment when it's only ran one race?
Why not the Viper?

Not all that slippery,IMO, as it was prefaced with the qualifier.

The qualifier IS the slope.

Well it allows the Bell entry to be a little more competitive with the Vettes and retains the ability to make sure that the 'works' team does not take advantage.

Also as to the GT-2 weight reduction, I think the Porsche is already running 25kg light (don't know from where, but it is in my head) hence the verbage;

The Porsche 911 RSR GT3 may continue at its currently homologated weight

Really...Wouldn't their homologated weight be 1225kg? I know they're running 100kg more to get the GT1 sized tires. Where is this 25kg reduction specified?

Is the Panoz running already with last years adjustments?

Panoz Esperante LMGT engine restrictor size is increased to 29.9 mm. maximum diameter per restrictor (two (2) restrictors per car).

Panoz Esperante LMGT on-board fuel capacity is increased to 95 liters.

Not necessarily, we know that cars are homologated with waivers for certain things all the time and we never hear about them until they become an issue. Like I said in the previous post; quote (don't know from where, but it is in my head).
