Default Sportscar Racing to benefit?

It seems that HPD 'Works', for both the Honda and Acura brands, are launching a grassroots campaign to strengthen racing at it's (HPD) core. Here They have already announced a plan for the FF class of SCCA, the FF plan is clearly a Honda openwheel promotion. Will this campaign also help strenghten the Acura tree of Sportscar racing? Or will it just be mainly focused on openwheel racing? Hopefully it is a sign of a furthering commitment from HPD/corporate in their current racing, as well as the ladders to reach them!
