Default Road America on Forza 2

New track pack is out with Road America and I was just wondering if anyone else here is a Forza addict like myself.

Thumbs up Love Em...

I love racing GT and ALMS 'type' cars on my, ahem..I mean my sons, PS2.

I have the Le Mans, GT3, GT4, and a few Ford games. Have been trying to convince the lovely bride that we should purchase the Xbox360, for Ryan of course, as the graphics look killer. PS3's graphics for the F1 game though are some of the best I have ever seen.

Forget which game has it, but Road Atlanta is on it, but it is the short course, and wish it had the long course. Racing on Sebring is also fun, but I always seem to stuff my car hard into T1...go figure.

I have the whole set up for playing the games, drivers seat, steering wheel, and speakers behind the head rest.....hopefully one of these days, a simulator chair will come up priced for the home....

Question Just Curious...

Just curious, how many cars race at one time? I love the GT4 race game, but not too much like the real thing....the LeMans GT game has both Protos and GTs on the grid....not that it makes any difference to me, as I always finish dead last, but love having more than just a handful of cars on the track.

Looks like I need to purchase the Xbox360...ahem, for my son of course! Are there any other tracks the ALMS races on in the game? What cars can you race right off the bat and not have to 'unlock'?

Any GARRA cars?

Pretty cool discription of the game....

Forza Motorsport 2 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Checking to see if the game has any GTP cars from the 80's....

I have run Road America several times on my pc with the old SportscarGT game. It was made available in a track pack. I can take the kink flat out and used to tell my driver when he didn't he in real life he was a girl.

Ken, if you ever make SEMA, stop by the Saleen booth. They have the most awesome and realistic sim I have ever driven. Price tag was $25k I am told. Beyond getting hit with rubber gum balls off the tires, it doesn't get any more real.

Sounds cool....I remember seeing on the web, the Sim that utilizes forces on the body to simulate break and accelerating....something like $14K or so.....

I am a big enough addict that I set up exhibition races online just to race ALMS style. I use Sebring, Road Atlanta, or Laguna Seca and now I'll use Road America. I'll drive the R10, and set up the rest of the field with the 908 HDi, Konrad Saleen S7R, Corvette Racing C6R, Maserati MC12, Flying Lizard 996, Risi Ferrari F430, and Team LNT Panoz. I'll race for 50 laps or so so that you have to maneuver through the GT1 and GT2 cars a couple time in the race.

Below is through the kink at full throttle...
