Default Hankook Tire and Corsa?

What should we expect from this combo. Does Hankook have GT2 experience (JLMS)? What about Corsa...will they use Pro drivers or will Steve Pruitt be in the Car? Well it will be interesting none the less finding out what this team and tire program will be capable of.

Nick, I'd say interesting is a excellent choice of words.

Hankook developed tires for the Alzen Porsche Caymen in the German VLN series this year. So at least have some sort of experience with GT cars..

If my memory serves me correctly, and often it does not, when I did an interview/PODcast with Steve at SLC this year, he was all excited about the ALMS and told me off the record he would be back....yes, his team/tire combo will be interesting in 08, but it is good to see them make the committment....

I also remember there were a few 'fans and media' who thought the podcast was a waste of time and he was not coming back......

A little salt and pepper with the crow perhaps?

Corsa to do a 3 day tire test starting Monday. Pruitt's team will be invading Risi country testing at the Motor Sport Ranch (Houston), both Mowlem & Jeanette will pilot the 07 car on the Hankooks. The teams 08 430 should arrive before Sebring.

Well it seems that they still have not found something that will work. Shame that they are withdrawing from the Sebring race. Hope that they get a handle on it soon.

Seems as though Corsa will be on Dunlops for St. Pete. Will Hankook be ready for LB? Hope they can get it together.

The Dunlops seem to do the number. They had a nice race today.

So did they change to Dunlop completely? I noticed the website has no mention of Hankook and the logos were removed from the homepage.

Spoke to Gunnar today. They are on Dunlops for now - the Hankook tires are left up in the air right now.. But not out of the question.
