Default Porsche 911 GT3 RSR Question

One thing I've noticed about teams running GT3 RSRs is that none of them have the Porsche badge on their nose. Some have "RSR" on the engine cover, but I don't think anyone has the Porsche badge on the nose. I'm pretty sure it was the same way with the 996 RSRs as well. Does anyone know why that is?

Seems to be on the RS

Ok...I got it..those raised emblems adds drag...and they're trying everything to keep up with the Ferraris.

Wasn't there a story about Penske making all of the livery/stickers on his IRL cars flush to reduce drag?

Good question; it would be nice, just as a small nod to the fact that there is a road car equivalent as a GT car...
Although, the three-and-a-half- or four-foot-wide dayglo-yellow strip on the windshield might be a bit more legible.

Ya, that's kinda what I was thinking, although not all Porsches have the Porsche windshield banner.
