Hey Lou, Doug Peterson will be in one of the cars right? My dad and him go way back, they were in business together or something to that effect.

While I enjoy the WCGT wnd WCTC series, I think the moving target rule book is really unappealing. I have always felt a series should create the best rules they can and let the rule book stand for at least a year before adjusting. Allow the teams to build their car to the best of their given abilities within the structure of those rules and race. Allow the cream to rise to the top and the others aspire to ascend the ladder themselves.

I understand that adjustments are intended to better 'the show'. But, when everyone involved is in a constant state of flux and unhappy, then that word gets out and spread, what have you really created? Nothing but a series full of disruption that at times tarnishes the product.

ALMS seems to have some terrific competition in GT2. The variety of brands has now been broadened with the addition of Lou's Vettes. The success of the Ferraris for example is not being hindered by the series, but rather a bench mark for the others to reach. That's the way it should be.

Lou will do well. He always does. I think with the stable package of ALMS GT2 the burden of guessing what tech bulletin will come out each race is gone. Now all Lou has to do is drive and win. That has to be a relief for him.

But, the question remains, who is the mystery third driver Lou? You can tell your friends here at The Forums.

I think it's safe to say it's neither one of us. LOL

Where are some pics of the build? Or are they State secrets? Or at least a rendering or two.

Sheeesh Lou.... what are we over here, red headed step kids or what?!

New intake manifold for LG from Kinsler;
Quote:
This is a new manifold that is being developed by Kinsler and will be a different set up for the LS7 vs LS3. The final product will have bolt up flanges on each runner to make an air tight seal to the plenum so the series can do a "Stall" test to make sure that all the air goes through the restrictors with no leaks.

I hope he will keep us up to date on further developments as he gets them.

That was actually posted by Louis... not Lou. I've sent Louis an note to start a Blog over here to post this sort of progress not. I'm sure he'll take advantage of it. Otherwise.... well, let's just say we'll have to make him an offer he can't refuse.

Well it looks like D. Peterson will not be in one of the LG Motorsports cars.
