Could they be back??

If I remember correctly though, there's a big car show in FL sometime around now that ACEMCO had the car at last year. I'd assume they're probably going to that again. The private collector with the DBR9 it there too. I'll see if I can find the pics from last year.

Here they are: 2007 Palm Beach Supercar Weekend Gallery - Supercars.net

Well, the Bear does say that Mr. Fehan is hopeful of competition for this year. Two Saleens were mentioned. Take a look at the latest Blog.

Looks like the 2008 edition of the Palm Beach Supercar Weekend is this weekend, so I'd be quite suprise if that wasn't where they were headed. I'd LOVE to be proven wrong though.

I would love to prove you wrong too...er... no wait, that didn't come out right.

I doubt there is anything to it, I just thought it was interestiong that the Bear mentioned Saleens today.

*shrug*, we'll see what happens.

Default Done with racing...

I think it is safe to say in this game, the Acemco Saleen(s) is done racing in the ALMS....will most likely end up in a collection or continue with the dog and pony shows of the rich and famous.......

Time to move on with this yearly ritual of hoping for them(Saleen) to make the grid....shame as they are my favorite of all ALMS GT cars.....and second to the Bentley GTP of all cars that have raced in the Series....

Yea... Doug Fehan has a Saleen rumor just about every year, so I guess it was just wishful thinking.

I'm hoping my Playboy Aston theory has a bit more meat to it.

Having a Saleen race in the ALMS and having an ACEMCO Saleen are two different discussions.....
