| Gt-2 Well GT-2 sure has been quite with the new season announcements! We have had the odd announcement here and there but not much from the bulk of the class per se. Maybe we will get a few snippets from the WDWT participants, hopefully!

| GT2.....and Mosler How many entries do you think this class will have? (Excluding Petit and Sebring)
Would love to see a few Euro teams come over for Sebring and Petit.....
Speaking of GTs and Euros...and clearly hi-jacking this thread....anyone know what ever happened to the Mosler? Were they not trying to get this approved by the ACO back in 04..05? |

I believe Mosler is mainly focusing on GT3 now. Kind of a shame as the cars definitely had a lot of potential for success in GT2 or even GT1.
As for GT2, I'm predicting a minimum of 13-15 full timers, and we could get as high as 18-20 at the long races.

| I was just thinking about how much this series has grown over the past 2-3 seasons. 2 years ago, we had 23-24 cars at races. Now we've got 18-19 at the test, with a big chunk of other competitors not there. And almost all of the entries are quality, professsional racing teams.
While the same 4 cars as last year might win most of the time again this year, the car count, and diversity on the grid is great. Sure we could use a few more P1s and GT1s, but overall, compared to 2-3 years ago, the series has taken a decided step forward. Add in the new tire manufacturers, the green racing initiative, and all of us passionate fans, and the ALMS is 2nd to none in the world of racing! |

| I agree 100%, I couldn't be more excited about the future of this series and look forward to attending more & more races each season. |

| With this year most likely be the last year for Champ Car. It would be cool to see all the teams left out from that series move on over to ALMS. Not like IRL is overly healthy either. I'd love to see Forsythe and Newman Haas mixing it up with penske, and andretti again. |
