Thumbs up Wow!

50 for full season?!?

Wow....we can dream over here.....and before any of you throw in my face about quality of the ALMS entries vs the qty..I get it ok, but I still would love to see all of those back marker qtys over here in the ALMS....A Saleen (AMERICAN CAR) not racing here in the States is a crime!

Well I would assume that according to the applications recieved and then granted by the LMS for the 08 season (as verified by their official release), that yes they do.

With a Porsche Factory driver why do you need two other drivers? Seems like a waste. None of the other cars with factory drivers have three. Is he full time? If not where is he full time? Just seems strange to me. Could be a Mike Petersen thing, who was always listed as a third driver, but never really drove in the end.

Murphy is reporting one run by Audi Sport N.A. for the season with 2 run by Joest for the biggies.

Murphy is speculating at best.

There have been no decisions or announcements made by Audi. Period.

It should be noted, however, they did extensive testing at Sebring before wheels down.. and, while I only recall them testing one car during the official test period, they did test two in the days after. They also ran tests on the "short" course... which one could speculate may have been an attempt to simulate street courses.

But, hey... what do I know? I don't hibernate in the winter.
