Default Peugeot Announcement

Well rather disappointing in my opinion. Most everything was already in the public realm and only 1 car for Sebring. That hoovers! The Peugeot driver line-up is as such;
Anthony BELTOISE (36, France), test and reserve driver
Marc GENE (33, Spain)
Christian KLIEN (25, Austria)
Pedro LAMY (35, Portugal)
Nicolas MINASSIAN (34, France)
Franck MONTAGNY (30, France)
Stéphane SARRAZIN (32, France)
Jacques VILLENEUVE (35, Canada)
Alexander WURZ (34, Austria)
Ricardo ZONTA (31, Brazil)

link

Well I wonder now that Peugeot has announced, when we will hear from Audi as to their ALMS plans. We evidently should expect it anytime as it was said to be forthcoming on the 10th. Quote; "So the driver line-ups for the R10s for Sebring have yet to be confirmed. 2008 plans for North America should become clear by February 10." from DSC.

????

edit; I still can not find where it says 1 car for Sebring. No quotes of M.Barge and nothing in the press release. The only place I see it is in the article lead-in to the release @ E.I. and that is not a "quote". ??

I was thinking they'd go with a two car effort at Sebring.

Was also hoping for them to at least say they'd be at Petit too(and a strong wish for Laguna Seca). At least they're making an appearance, hopefully they do decide to do China and give our last two rounds a go.

I'm disappointed not to see both cars too, but I can't really blame them. They will probably learn just as much with one car and don't even sell their cars here. Why risk two cars and spend the cash?

I scoured the release too. I don't get it. I'd think the second car would be need to offset the expense of that damn building they put up in the paddock. LOL

Looking forward to seeing it. They have some money invested in the drivers too, eh?

Oh, if you see a guy leaning over the fence with a PBR and a 400D in hand going, "Hey John, hey, hey John" it's just me. Your best line of defense is to ignore me.
