I have to say I'm not terribly impressed by how it looks...
In what way? I think it looks hot. Sure, it is just a basic paint job, but the car's lines look great to me. The front air dam looks a bit primitive though.

I dunnno, the way the fender flares look from the front and how the rockers look to just be one flat piece the entire length. I dunno, maybe I just need to see a pic of it with all its bodywork and without a bunch of people around it or something.
I will say that the pics are of not very good quality (detail) and that the paint does not help matters much. But at first blush it reminds me of a car (generally) out of the movie "Cars" (animated).

The car itself looks good, the paint job is boring. If this is a GT2 car I can't see how people complain about the Maser MC12 being a GT1? I can't wait to see this car in the Trans Sport colours.
