Default Some thanks in order...

Just wanted to publicly throw out some well deserved thank yous.

I have a pretty full slate each week between photographic duties and team PR commitments. Believe me, by time I get off the plane and get home, the weekend is nothing but a blur. So while I'd like to apologize for not being around online as much, I can't thank enough the folks who pick up the slack.

First, to Todd Benne for doing due diligence posting up team and series' news through out the race weeks and weekends. Between here and Trackbytes.com, Todd is a "hammer." I can't thank Todd enough.

Also, HORNDAWG for trolling the world wide web for all the nuggets he digs up and getting the word out here. Thanks for the allegiance.

Lastly, and in some way and announcement of sorts, John Dagys has committed to bringing his insightful reporting to The Race Forums and Trackbytes. Expect to see lots of original content from John both at the races and away from the track. John will adding his race reports "live" from the track and also posting feature stories inbetween events. John's talents have quickly earned him respect among his peers at the races and trust among the ALMS competitors. I'm extremely appreciative of him jumping on board. I think it will be a huge addition to this site and Trackbytes.

So welcome, and thank you, John.

Not sure what to say but I also appreciate the time everyone puts in here. I don't always have the time to read all the rumors, so I like to be able to find the cliff notes versions.

Thanks guys. I'm really looking forward to delivering coverage to both Trackbytes and The Race Forums... My goal is to provide reports from trackside each weekend, as well as gather content that would be later published as feature stories/interviews during the off-time between races. I should have two or three feature stories up before Miller, and expect some more exciting things after that. This could also include some content from the 24 Hours of Le Mans as well...

One of my goals is to resurrect John's podcasting equipment and get that going again. It's something I've been really trying to put together for the past two years, and I'm not going to pass up the opportunity this time.

So thanks again, and spread the word to your friends!
