As I said, he's slated for two or three races. This is the correct John Faulkner. It is my understanding the car will run in Intersport livery.

I did not mean to imply that it would be anything other than an Intersport entry. Just that he has been in a Oarnge/Black/White liveried car before.

Well with the complete loss of the #30 chassis there seems to be some question as to what Intersport will do to replace it, or not. It would seem that they are staying in P-1, and maybe in a coupe. Power may be a question and maybe looking at a biturbo Cosworth V8.

We're getting conflicting reports right now. One person on the team says a B06/10, another says a Coupe. It seems like they haven't even figured it out yet. I'd say a safe bet is another B06/10, possibly the ex-Charouz(and Cytosport Le Mans) one (as that's the only one I can think of that's available.. if they get one custom built, why not go with a Coupe?).
But yes, they are staying in P1.. That P2 rumor was just that.. a Rumor... | |

Well, Intersport will be flying high! The #1 Audi was DQed in post race scrutineering for not meeting weight so Intersport wins P-1 at Detroit!!

I got a phone call as I was driving home from Detroit. Almost turned back, but decided to get back here and figure everything out. Expect an official statement from the team tomorrow morning. We're excited, to say the least. A win is a win, but cruel luck for Audi. | |
