Please explain that to me, where are those words stated! There is always the chance of maybe a second car or even just the endurance races and managing the team.

Never thought it that thoroughly.

Well there are some who are saying that the P-1 project is only a computer model and will not be on a grid in 09. I disagree with that and am joined in that outlook. link I guess now we will just have to see what they are building, Cabrio, Coupe or a Coupe-EVO?

Hmm, Marshall thinks/puts forth, it will end up with de Ferran as a 2 car P-2 team and 1 each for Highcroft and Fernandez in P-1. Along with a possible P-2 engine customer in the LMS. link

Well it seems it will be Highcroft for 1 and de Ferran for 1 in LMP-1 and Fernandez with 1 in P-2. If Fernandez is truly only going to run 1 car in P-2, I hope that this will end up as Fernandez as the "semi works" P-2 developmant team and Acura offering engine(ers) for privateers to run the other ARX-01b's. It would be a shame to lose those chassis as at the moment that would just hand P-2 to Porsche. If not Penske (leaving?), then Dyson. Hate to lose the competition at the front of P-2, and the ARX-01b seems to be, at the moment, the only chassis with the stuff to beat the Spyder.

Edit: As more news on this trickles in it seems that there will be at least 2 teams running in P-2, with the second one being that ever present contender, TBA.

Well with what came out of the ACO's rules conference it looks as if the engine in the ARX-01 will/should be utilized in the ARX-02a.(?)

Ahh yes! Didn't think about that until now. But are the P2 engines eligible for competition in P1 next year? It's not very clear (as is every ACO press release). lol

Hmm, We now see both Ganassi drivers in Acuras for Petit. Would it be a coup for Chip to beat out AGR for the second ARX-01c for next year? Maybe some movement away from the "World center of Racing" for Ganassi/Sabates hastened by the pullback from Mexico City among other things?

During the second testing session broadcast from RLM I think the crew chief at Highcroft said that the tub being used (replacement) was thicker/stiffer than the one that was being replaced? If so that would make it a different spec tub, therefore is/was the replacement tub an ARX-01c? So we have 3 ARX-01b's and 1 ARX-01c on the grid at Petit. (?)
