Well at this point to me at least, it is a hurry up and wait scenario! I expect major cuts in GM Racing plans, but if sense prevails it will not mean the complete destruction of the ALMS Corvette Racing program. For ROI it is the strongest program that they have, IMO (as I do not want to dig up the #'s). It is also aligned with and using alternative fuel now and in the future, which is a major plus as to GM's expressing in the conference that they would be increasing in alternative drive trains! So I guess you could say that I am in tune with Peter's outlook on the situation.

Tha Corvette program really is the one that should be at the fore front of those advertizing dollars funnelled to racing, because of it's relevancy, for sure.

Well Fehan has submitted his budget and feels that (like me and many others) that the Corvette Racing program is the best ROI in the cupboard at GM (no suprise there, right). Also Fehan is saying that if the program does not get the AXE (my words here, paraphrasing) that he feels there will still be a place to run the C6.Rs at least in N.America through 09. From an interview @DSC.
