Patrick Dempsey to join Team Seattle at Le Mans. This seems a fairy tale pairing and PR bonanza considering Patrick's potrayal of Dr. Derek Shepherd at Seattle Grace Hospital in Grey's Anatomy with Team Seattle's and their partner in this effort Team France's, good works, goal for childrens medical assistance. Here
Hope that it comes to fruition!! While not being a likely candidate to win, IMO, the Team's effort is stellar in that it is a cause that we should all hope brings attention to the need of these children, that it intends to help.

Reminder.. Le Mans entry list should be released tomorrow.. Was hoping for a midnight release like they've done in the past, but it sounds like the ACO will have a press conference instead, sometime tomorrow..

Great to see Pescarolo running a 908! I am happy to see they let Drayson in. As much as I love the F430, GT2 should be more balanced with a Lambo or another 997, Vantage GT2, Spyker, or LG IMO. This year's race is going to be one for the ages! Mr. Dagys I am jealous.

Gigawave has withdrawn from the race to conentrate on Nissan's GT-R program and homologation. That means that Team Seattle with Patrick Dempsey will move onto the grid out of the reserves. Here

Epsilon Euskadi have withdrawn both of their cars, one that was on the grid and the second which was on the reserve list. This means that for the first time an entry from the People's Republic of China will be on the grid for the race in the GT-2 Porsche 997 of Enduance China Team. Here

Vitaphone has officially withdrawn its P-2 (Porsche Spyder) entry from the grid and Racing Box its second (reserve entry) Lola B09/80 Judd. This will advance the second IMSA Performance-Matmut 997 to the grid. Here

Too bad to see an RS Spyder go, although this was rumoured. Good news though is that the Ferrari imbalance is not as bad. It was once 3 997's vs. 10 F430's, now there are 5 997's. Also, it will be interesting to see if one of the Luc Alphand Corvettes withdraws, as is rumoured. If it does then the Barazi Zytek gets in LMP2.

Yeah nice to see another Porsche in GT2. I'm hoping one of the IMSA cars will be an all pro car.
