| Well, even though the R-15 was homologated by the ACO it seems that others have issue with the car. Here where art. 3.6.1 is cited yet they leave off an integral part of the it, funny, that!

Seriously though, I really hope this doesn't let the cat out the bag aero wise, with manufacturers now starting on a development race that the boutiques like Zytek, Lola, Pescarolo, Courage (Oreca), etc. cannot keep up with. I love technological innovation but I also love competition. |

So when Audi builds their car to the clarified rules how can it be not in the "spirit" when it has just been reviewed and clarified?????

| That's why I was joking. I have no problem with what Audi has done. I like the way prototypes look now (except the Acura P1 but I respect its' design) and I hope they all don't end up with raised noses and look F1-like at the front. IMHO a prototype should look like the current Zytek, Creation, Pesca, Lola, EE, Courage-Oreca, Peugeot, and Lola Aston.

| So now that VAG has seemingly beaten Porsche about the head and showed they would not go quietly into the night, maybe Audi will get back to racing the R-15 once they finish spiffying it up to satisfy the ACO. (crossing fingers)

| Well, IMO, more on the road to recovery for the Audi R-15 program as Wiedeking has been ousted at Porsche. Now maybe we will see a renewed, even if somewhat curtailed, program from Herr Dr. Ullrich and the minions from Ingolstadt

| Well it seems more woes for Porsche, brought about by Wiedeking. Here
The mill on Audi being at Petit seems strong.
Well we will not see the R-15 in 2010, as we know it. It will either have to be replaced or have major new body work to comply with the 2010 rules, released by the ACO today from the Nürburgring. Here English text from page #4
Although with waivers, it may appear in the ALMS

| Well it seems that my thoughts of an Audi R-15C 3.7L is getting closer to fruitioin. DSC
