I wonder if the new engine will be the 4.2L V8 TDi or a 3.7L derivative of it, in advance of the 2011 rule set?

I think we're all wondering. They are being very quiet. Is there any chance it will be a hybrid? Everyone seems to think it will not be a V10 or V12. I think a small diesel V10 would be very cool. I hope Peugeot shows up at Sebring with 2 cars, possibly one as a hybrid. That would be an epic battle: 2 Acura ARX02 vs. 2 Audi R15 vs. 1 Peugeot 908 & 1 909HY in P1

Why spend the time, effort and budget on a V-10 when it will only be legal for 2 years, maximum? Especially with the current squeeze on budgets.

This today, adding to what Audi has been saying, all along:

autosport.com - Le Mans News: Audi won't reveal R15 until March

Sneak peek at the Audi R-15. Here There seems to be some similarities in the roads traveled in the new P-1 designs.

And another, this of the front but not as close up. Here

That rear view glimpse is sexy! Especially the rear wing reflectors (or maybe brake lights lol) and the side shark gill's on the top.

Autosport has a killer photo up showing the car from the front & side. I wish they would leave it black, it looks mean. The Acura does not look as nice as the Audi, the R15 looks sleak IMO.
