| Well it seems that Corvette will be pulling the D.I. off the cars, immediately, and leave it off for the remainder of the year, as per a request from the ACO. It seems that Porsche and Ferrari lobbied the ACO for the removal, according to Peter over at AUTOEXTREMIST

| As to the D.I. it does not seem that they expect it on the production car next year so I would imagine we will not see it on the GT-2 C6.R next year either. It seems that Doug is going with it as a fuel economy item only, and hoping he can convince the powers that be to put it back on.
Seems that there will be an extra passenger on the cars as Bibendum will get a, Thank You, consolation ride from Corvette Racing!

| So with Fassler named to the Audi R15+ 'werks' roster for Le Mans. I wonder what that does to Corvette's line-up? I would not think that they would keep him, if he is not available for Le Mans!

| Olly Gavin, via facebook: is in Spain testing at the Monteblanco Circuit with the Corvette customer teams DKR & SRT & their new spec GT1 cars. There have been a number of modifications made to bring it in line with the rules for the new FIA GT1 World Championship. The car is heavier, less power, reduced aerodynamics, as well as a number of electrical/software changes. The last thing (elec/soft) is the main thing we work on today... He is headed to Portimao Portugal tomorrow to finish up.
