I think the only real solution would be end of year (like how the ACO held the Le Mans 1000km race on the Bugatti circuit in 2003. A few American teams came over - Intersport and someone else I think..)
True that it would not fit the ALMS schedule well. But in the middle of the LMS season with the ACO and LMS pooling their resources for transportation, and more teams involved in the points chase at that time. Then one would hope to get a much better turnout of LMS teams compared to this years Interlagos race. Then if it works, maybe the calendar can be worked on to get a better fit for all of the series.

Here's who I'd like to see win:
LMP1 - Pescarolo - It'd be great to see Pesca snatch the title away from the Pugs
LMP2 - Embassy - I'd love to see Radical finally win one!
GT1 - Luc Alphand - I can't root against a Corvette
GT2 - Spyker Squadron - I'd love to see the Spyker finally get a win. Especially as it may be the last time we see the Squadron, and Spyker, the company's days seem numbered as well, so if they're gonna go down, I'd love to see them go down in a blaze of glory!

Not impressed with Peugeot...they seem to not be able to finish two cars anywhere near each other. 12 laps apart...come on guys you have a long way to go until you reach Audi's status.
