Exclamation Empty Seats

Just turned on the TV to see the last few laps of the race in Atlanta...and wow, I do not think I have ever seen so many empty seats in a NASCAR race...I mean, it was clear, not just one small area or those closest to the fence...but many many seats vacant....

Infield though is packed as usual....

Welcome to a struggling economy. The average Joe, who occupies a large percent of those seats, is feeling the pinch. The cost of gas, food, and everything else attached to a weekend of racing has risen. Plus with the 36 race schedule, complaints about The Chase, the COT, some fans are voting with their wallets.
