I watched it and Letterman was the owner of the car she used to drive, and knows the sport. I think that the interview was fine, and probably better than some she's probably done with some "serious" news-person from some local TV station, who asked stupid questions, and obviously knew nothing about ANY motor-sport and did not bother to do any homework!
I knew she had gone to England to race, which takes guts, alone, at age 16; and race in that cutthroat series; were everyone wants to be the next Michael Schumacher. I believe that proves her commitment, especially at such a young age.
Sarah Fisher was 'most popular' for a couple of years among Indy fans, and couldn't get a decent ride, even if she did not have the experience that Danica had.
