Default Glen 6 Hour

Haven't been to the Glen in at least 10 years, looking forward to this weekend - hope the weather cooperates!

I'm working some 11th-hour plans to get up there tomorrow night. I haven't even got tickets yet! (meaning I'm out 18 bucks...)
I think dad would want to go but he's got a wedding to attend on Saturday and not enough motivation...

Great seeing you and hanging out with you at the campfire, Trevor. Yeah, just what we needed after frickin' 95 degree days - a huge fire!

Yeah, I was glad to have finally been able to make it-and to see familiar faces too! The Grand-Am race wasn't too bad either (although I'd definitely prefer to see some Peugeots kick that track's ass!). I'm almost done recovering from the sunburn...

You didn't miss a lot Sunday, besides a wicked northeast thunderstorm (the campground was struck by lightning, of course)-the NASCAR race was really anticlimactic, and WCGT was all Pobst, though with a little dicing.

I'd like to make it for IRL as well...

I left during lap 17 (of 22) of the Speed GT race (watched the 10 laps until that point form the turn 2 grandstands, start form th 90 grandstand. Drove thru some wicked monsoon rains on the way home.

I'm going to be there Sunday for the IRL now-I liked the place enough the first time.
Ain't cheap to camp though...
