| Hindy said there will be a new pace car procedure starting from Mosport, it will pick up the leader of the race, then the normal pitstop cycle, then if/when the wave-by happens it picks up the first leader in class in the queue. That should allow the class races to stay intact instead of possibly giving class leaders a lap on the field during the wave-by!! GOOD!

| P-2 and GT-2 were really good races until the MZR.R went puff-boom!
Really hard racing to the end between Jan and Kaffer.
Way to go Corvette Racing, winning in only their third start with the GT-2!!
Nice way to celebrate the birth of Jan and Christina's new son Luka.

| I am angry about Jan's driving and the lack of a penalty. What a load of crap! The Tafel Ferrari was penalised last year for WAY less rubbing than that effectively costing the #73 any chance of the championship. Now that the Precious factory Corvette program is in GT2 I fear there will be many more decisions to favour them. I'm not ranting at you, Horndawg, I am ranting at the double standards of the series. If the Risi car had done that to a Vette there would have been a penalty for sure.
On a postive note, Kudos to the series on changing the yellow flag procedure for GT2.

| Hmm, a single incident between Jan and Kaffer because of cold tires vs Tafel and Lizard going after each other for most of the race, and being warned about it, well before the penalty was assessed is not the same! Me thinks your knickers are wrongly twisted.
Just so you know that it is not my imagination as to the Tafel incident, a quote from DSC: Quote: |
"As the race went on, there were incidents of what appeared to be side to side contact, some of which was mentioned as being investigated by the officials. Both drivers were issued warnings for their driving, but finally, in the waning moments of the race, Dirk made his way past. The incident was brought to the attention of the officials, who after the race tagged the Tafel entry for a 30 second penalty. This was deemed as an un-protestable penalty, leaving Tafel with no recourse."

| Anger subsided. I always cheer for Risi and did for Tafel in their day too. Melo drove the wheels off the F430 @ Mosport, I was really hoping they'd pull it off. |

| I must say it was awesome to see the top speed of that Intersport Lola. Right on by the Acura and then bye bye. Followed by an immediate hello again at the next turn of course. |

| As much as I enjoy seeing Jon Field go balls out at the start of each race, but it always ends up with him in the pits very early on and eventually giving Clint a damaged car. Cool to see the interviews with Jan and Pierre giving each other some well deserved respect. |
