Default Petit Le Mans

Coming on the heels of a great race at Belle Isle, this year's Petit Le Man demonstrated the strength and momentum of the series and sports car racing.

Yes, and Laguna was even better still. What a great 3 last races of the year.

No doubt... I made that post a few days before Laguna. And you're right... it was another killer event.

I get to the Petit about every year, think I've missed only two or three.

Fantastic racing again this year, looking forward to next.

Was a great race and first time I been back to road America in 15 years or so. Was great working the race also, and since I had a great corner 10 and the flag station before the bridge.

If anyone has pics from those area post em up, like to see if anyone got some good ones of stuff I remember and maybe even me. Already found a few with me on the web.

The corner was never dull. Great race can't wait to go back next year.

My guess is, it was your first time back to Road ATLANTA in 15 years.

My first Petit was in 2005, and in 2006, I could see a HUGE difference in the crowds at the track. In 05 I was able to get some great pictures on the pre race grid walk. In 06, it was very crowded and pictures were next to impossible. In 07 I didn't even bother going down. I'm not complaining at all. More people means more exposure, means more manufacturer involvement. Now that I've graduated to camping in the infield starting on Tuesday night before the race, I'm totally hooked.
