| What's with Autocon? Is it drivers or is it equipment? Roughly 7 seconds slower than the fastest Vette, I hope that this was a "getting used to it" period.
9.7 - Minimum qualifying time :
Drivers shall achieve a lap time at least equal to
a/ 125 % of the average of the 3 best laps set by 3 cars of different
makes,
b/ 115 % of the best time achieved by the fastest car in each of the four
categories
I'm assuming item A is within their own class.

I'm assuming item A is within their own class. | If I'm doing my math right (and I very well may not be), Autocon needs to do a 3:47 (Assuming Peugeot doesn't improve) in order to qualify for the race. They did a 3:56 today, so they've got a LOT of work to do to get out of the red.
But then again, I just saw that last year, the T2M Dome Mader did a 4:53! in qualifying and still made the race.

| I did some math also, and came up with a 4:14 based on 125% of the average of the fastest Pug, Audi and Pescarolo. Of course with the Pugs running sub 3:20 times, I wonder if the ACO will "adjust" them to maintain the 3:30 rule?

| John Manchester has confirmed the sale of a Zytek/Zytek to a US customer and to being very close to a second sale. He also said that there is a high probability that we will see at least one of them in the latter part of the season (how soon ?)!

They had said that Autocon and Tokai U were both in the red yesterday, so I don't think 4:14 would be correct as both cars did faster than that yesterday.
Autocon was able to pick up 9 seconds today though and did a 3:47, so they just squeaked it out. Assuming I'm doing the initial math correctly, the Tokai U car has 6 minutes to get their car qualified or they'll be going home. I'm not sure how strict the ACO is on all of that though. |

Or if they want they could just let them in! Everyone on the grid is there by invitation of the ACO.
