What I heard in the paddock Hallen,
LG found metal shavings in the engine. The Pug was visibly faster than the Audi. It was funny, I was in the paddock when Audi was changing the turbo and there was a Pug engineer near watching with a scanner listening to the Audi mechanics, taking notes, and filming the engine. Risi was dominating GT2 until Jaime hit the Farnbacher car, I was in 8 & 9 when those cars came around and they were severly damaged, I didn't see the impact but it must have been one hell of an impact! Someone else was mentioning the 4 Ford GT-R's. At THIS point (may change) one is the Robertson's, the second will be Tim Pappas', the third will be Oliver Kuttner's, the fourth will be Kevin Doran's. Second Robertson car not likely yet if at all, according to David Robertson. All 4 WILL see the track this year! Corsa will shake down their '08 430 at SLC and will field both cars later in the year! LG said a second GT2 Vette is very close for another customer. Alex Job said he hopes to be back soon and is working on something. I spoke to McNish early Friday AM about AMR and he said that even though it is Charouz running a Lola chassis, don't be fooled! ProDrive is doing the full development of the chassis and program and a full Le Mans project is in the works behind the scenes. He also said they (Audi) know the Pug is faster and they surpisingly no longer think they have a reliability advantage againt the 908.
