Well it looks as if the ACO thinks that Peugeot will be at Sebring! On pg.2 in the right hand column an article titled: ALMS 10th Anniversary link

Not particularly in my mind.
But Peugeot has not officially stated as such yet.

So now that Corvette has announced their driver line-up for the season the only thing holding up the Sebring entry list is Audi and their announcing their 08 ALMS plans.

Even though the race is happening with or without an entry list, it would be nice to get it soon(like now.. or at least end of this week ).

Don't hold your breath

Unless IMSA is waiting for some as of yet unknown program...we all pretty much know who's going to be at Sebring.

Hey, this isn't a flame... it's a genuine question.

What is so important about the entry list? I see posts like yours every year and for the life of me can't think of why it's so important. Sure... a week out, it'd be nice to know who's signed up for the event... but isn't it usually a matter of "who else" signed up?

I think the reason it is always posted later than sooner is the fact that they want to allow late entries at their (IMSA) discretion.. and not be subject to criticism.

Either way, I don't understand the urgency or the reason to know three weeks before the race.

Like I said, this is a genuine question. I'm not criticizing you.. I'm searching for a reason cause it's always confused me.

John, with respect, some of us make our decisions to attend a race sometimes quite close to the event and based on certain cars/teams. Once I saw the proposed entry list on Mariantic (although speculative) for example, I decided to attend Sebring this year. Without the Peugeot, DBR9 or the Horag car I would probably would have waited until Petit. Just my 2 cents. I know teams usually announce their programs but sometimes it is nice to have confirmation before taking time off and spending money.
