I take it you are referring to this one ( link ) but from what I decipher it will not omit the previous layout.

I like the new track design...hopefully the cars use it...I think it will make for better racing. Except for maybe that first chicane...I'm not sure how I feel about it.

I will be there... but will very likely miss any presentations/conferences going on. There's a club event at the track that day and I'll be corner working...

Horndawg- that's the one!

Note that the No-name straight will no longer be winding - that is one change to the actual existing circuit. Also the top-of-the-hill chicane will be gone, which has only been used by the ALMS cars in the last few years.

From the proposed changes, it seems like they have purposely designed slow corners - IMO to keep overall speeds sown for the new Lime Rock Club members.

Trevor - see what you can do about sneaking over to the chalet at lunchtime and snap some pictures of anything they are showing!

I can try-it has been said that that pdf is already outdated-but changes, at least as severe, will still be made.

Here's the link to register and hear the press conference and view the map:
26184 - Web Broadcast

The preliminary maps had a lot of things off. New bridge to the infield. Added 19 acres beside the infield entrance road. New bathrooms WOW!
