JT | I just saw an entry list today with 18 cars on it, the majority of them names I have never heard of before, marked 4-3-08. So, unless things went sour in the last few days?

| I heard over the weekend (Speed Report, maybe?) that a couple of the teams (Forsythe was one) will be running 4 or 5 cars?! That must be where the numbers are being picked up. Not matter what, it's going to suck. Saturday only in LB for me.

| Frankly, no offense, but I could care less! This is the final race of CCWS and even though I think the wrong party prevailed, good riddance. My hope is for the American OW racers to get their poop together and get back to a series that rivals F-1, at least here in N.America. As to Long Beach, I truly hope that it becomes a Sports Car race and OW can go fly a kite! The ALMS could really use the market. Lets hope that a few of the drivers employ better patience in their approach to it in contrast to St. Pete.

| It looks as if Dirk Werner will be driving in that other American Sports Car series in Mexico City the weekend of the Tequila Patrón ALMS at Long Beach round. He is said to be being replaced by Frank Stippler in the Farnbacher Loles Porsche 997 RSR, who has some history teaming with Basseng at the Nordschliefe.

| Well, according to the D-B site, the Vantage will be ready to go. Drayson-Barwell : Drayson-Barwell out of luck on streets of St.Petersburg "This was a sad end to the big 6.0-litre V12 GT3-spec Aston Martin’s ‘cameo role’ in Drayson-Barwell’s ALMS season, with the new Vantage GT2 machine making its debut at the next round of the series in Long Beach, California in two weeks’ time." and "We’ll get a second chance on the streets of Long Beach, when the stunning new Vantage GT2 car will be flying the flag for Britain in the ALMS. This will effectively be a test session for the new car, however, as it won’t have turned a wheel prior to the team putting it on the track for the first practice session at Long Beach."

| It would be great to finally get the Vantage GT-2 on the grid. Lets hope that the malady that struck the JWA Vantage GT-2's engine at Catalunya has been resolved and will not effect the Drayson car.
