I thought Stippler was an Audi factory driver. Whoa.

Well even though Tafel has withdrawn from Le Mans to concentrate on the ALMS we will not see the #73 at Long Beach, but it will re-join as planned at SLC. Maybe a wise move considering all the carnage that took place at St. Pete.

I wish more teams would follow to take stand against these street fights and poor TV coverage. Surely the team sponsors cannot be pleased.

Just peeked at the current Long Beach entry list.

Stephan Johanssen is a third driver in the Highcroft Acura and Andy Lally is the thrid driver in the #20 Dyson. Not sure why they have third drivers listed...it's only a 100 min race.

Also doesn't looks like Bell got their Aston Martin back together...just the Vettes in GT1.

Just looked at the entry list too. Too bad they couldn't get it back together in time(or maybe they just didn't want to take another lick from a concrete wall... and a Viper sitting in the the racing line).

Stephan and Andy were on the St. Pete entry lists as well. Dyson and Highcroft probably just put all 3 drivers on their full season entries when they filled out the paperwork or something.

I can see it already. The NBA game will go into over time and there will be no coverage of the Long Beach event for the west coast.

That would be a lot of over time to affect something on at 1:05AM, when most are sleeping.
