Looks like Tomy Drissi is in the Autocon car for LB.
I have been pondering the Autocon Drissi connection at Long Beach. I've come to the conclusion that the perfect Drissi-esques livery would be to have the car as the Mach 5 for the upcoming Speed Racer movie. Man, dating myself again but, the original car-toon was probably just as influential on my love of road racing as going to Laguna and Sears Point as a wee lad.
Well, as far as I know, Autocon is on Dunlops. The SpeedRacer connection will ultimately rear its head in a relationship with Yokohama.
Drissi goes back to Trans-Am with Mike Lewis and the early days when Lewis came over to ALMS. Not sure we'll see "Coming June Whatever" on the side of the Autocon. I'm thinking it's more about Tomy wanting to run on his "home track."

That is pretty bad. What kind of new viewers do they expect at that time slot? Seriously, I love this series, but they have got it completely wrong. Off topic, but when I first read about the 5 year deal to run St Pete, I wondered if the series would even last 5 more years. Something needs to be done.
I hope the powers that be read these forums once in awhile and read our outrage of the current TV package. Every race should be broadcast live, in it's entirety, every time. Anything less than that is failing if you as me.
