Happy to help. Glad things worked out for you.
When I got there, I lucked out into a set of credentials and a vest and wandered "no man's land" (the walkway right next to the track, where only photogs, and other "officials" dare to tread), and man, that was way cool.("Awesome," perhaps?) Stood at T9 for the opening laps, then went towards the kink in the back straight, the the best place of all, the hairpin "island," standing at the wall, looking into the cockpits as the cars slowly round that corner.
One thing I will say for the GPALB, this year they didn't chase people out of the empty parking structure at the T9 braking point, like they did last year, telling us it was a fire hazard. Nice to see that particular spot filled 3 deep with folks again, the entire length of it.
