I was there last year, and will be there again this year, too. We spent nearly no time in Tooele. Stayed in SLC.

Red Iguana. Excellent place. Packed.

Thanks, we'll add it to the "possibles list."

True, the internal part of Miller looks great for motorbike sbut its simply to tight for cars.

My thoughts on how to accomplish both. Would be something like this which would keep the tighter stuff for the bikes and slower cars but would afford a longer highspeed track for the faster cars and prep for Le Mans. Could be run in either the red or yellow config.

I like it...I'd only add the blue...a turn off the long straight, slow like Indianapolis or the chicanes. T1 currently is to fast and doesn't provide a hard enough braking, IMO (The cars braking into T1 at Laguna have more heat in the brakes than the cars braking into T1 at Miller). Pave the run off too

A little off topic; This video shows part of Larry Miller's collection which is housed at MMP. Enjoy!

Hmm, I've heard rumblings that Lou and the Riley have both made good use of the time since Long Beach with their respective weight training issues and just may meet the new weight from bulletin # ALMS 08-04, svelte! And that they will indeed have new shoes for the race but the shoes will be more similar to those on the "home team". And there may be a guest driver at SLC.
