Better looking car count so far, 20 entries. As expected Falken, Autocon, and the GT1 Vettes. Too bad no second Panoz. LG lists second driver as TBA. I wonder if Lou's entry is pending funding? I hope Whelen Engineering likes what they see at St. Pete this weekend and step up to put Eric Curran in Lou's car for the rest of the year. Ian James is out of the Panoz too?

Sadly, as I suspected, Lou's entry requires funding. Hopefully after his 4th place at St. Pete Whelen Engineering will step up again. And, Tomy Drissi where are you?

I thought LG looked great last weekend - retirements did help, of course. Does this mean without funding he may not race at LB? Didn't realize the Whelen deal was a one-off.

Even with the Whelen money he still used some of his own to race at St.Pete. He needs another paying driver or to get Whelen to extend & increase their involvement. You see how easy it was for Tafel to get in over his head. I am amazed that Joel Feinberg keeps showing up but he is good at finding sponsors for his Viper and is probably spending family $$$.

Drissi is running Trans Am.

Oops, forgot. Besides, he ran with LG at Petit last year. For Long Beach he was with Autocon, my bad.

Hmm, he does not need another paying driver, per se, he needs a fulltime sponsor(s). If a driver can also bring one with them, as Curran has, then all the better. And a third paying driver for the long races.
