Things are starting to look better than I thought.

I highly doubt a second Panoz.. From what I understood, the current 22 car would be getting the EVO upgrades..

And with the Robertson's second entry, again, I wouldn't get my hopes up. They have been trying to do it for a while now.. But if it would happen, next year could be it because of the team's continued progress with the car.

But we're still looking at 30+ full-season entries if you include both Challenges... Not too bad if you ask me.

Creation - Le Mans Racing Team
Creation continues to say they intend to do the full 2010 season, funding dependent. It would be a nice surprise if they could somehow put together a program for 2 cars.

Yes it would be nice if they could find the drivers to put the program on the grid. Maybe Liz will find her way back to a seat there.

The rumor of Schnitzer as a second BMW M3 2 car team seems to be gaining some momentum.

Indeed it does, as if GT needs to get any better! 2010 could be a dream season for that class, now RSR just needs to manage to get multiple Jags up and running by the end of the season.

EI is reporting one of the Lola Aston LMP1's has been sold to someone in the USA. A collector or perhaps Duncan Dayton?

I just do not see a great deal of provenance in/collectibility of those cars. For a fan of AM it might be of value, but as a overall collectable I do not see that much interest! Even someone like Duncan who collects race cars, they are not that special.

And I do not see it being purchased to be run by Duncan, it has not proven that it is capable of beating the diesels and is no more competitive than the other petrol cars as it has been beaten by ORECA and Pescarolo.
If Highcroft is to change chassis then I think both Lola and ORECA are the best alternatives at this point, or possibly a GZ-09HS.

If Duncan was to run an Oreca or a Zytek (or two) I would be over the moon! Aston's Le Mans cars have been pre-sold to collectors in recent years so do not underestimate the number or wealth of collectors out there.(I have a friend in the collecting world who owns 9 F1 cars and to look at the guy you wouldn't know he had a dime. ) Add the gulf livery to the Aston V12 and 50th anniversary of their victory and there is bound to be someone who would like them.Having said that I REALLY hope they end up with racers as I love those cars. I am not holding my breath for one to be in the ALMS but it sure would be cool.

The French press is reporting that Peugeot may run a 908 with de Ferran or Highcroft in the ALMS and Le Mans for 2010!
