What's going on with funding issues? I read somewhere that they may have lost a sponsor in 3 dimensional?

Yea, 3 Dimensional is Doug Peterson's business. Peterson is gone from the team, and so is his sponsorship.

Bummer...

Hopefully Curran can get something together for them...and I just finished my LG Corvette livery in Forza 2.

Ya, with Peterson pulling out it put Lou in a bind. At the moment things aren't looking very good for the team's continued participation in the series. Lets hope that Eric can swing some sponsorship or maybe Riley steps up to keep the car in development mode. Heck Riley still has not got the chassis fully completed yet.

Marshall Pruett just posted an interview saying LG is 90% sure that he will have to give the car back to Riley.

Sounds like LG will come back in a Porsche or a Ferrari ; /. It would have been nice to see the Corvette up there competing up front with the Porsches and Ferraris but looks like that won't happen for some time now. Maybe the Ford GTs will step it up but not likely either ; /.

Well the Corvette going back to Riley doesn't necisarily mean that LG won't be running it again. From how the article made it sound, the car would go back to Riley so they could complete and develop the car, in which time LG would search for sponsorship, and then get the car back later in the season.

Even though a Porsche or Ferrari would probably put them more towards the pointy end of the field, I love seeing a small, privateer effort willing to take a chance on something new and different, and I really hope they can get the Corvette back on track.
