Is this the basis for the new homologation of the coming GT-2 Viper? link

I saw that yesterday and was thinking the same thing. It would be cool if the GT2 car was based on the SRT-10 Coupe and not the Coupetition Coupe. I just think a race car that looks more like the original GTS-R would look amazing, whereast the CC has never done much for me visually.
