Swiss Spirit will be back in 08 with Phoenix. After a prolonged legal battle the Lola/Audi will, if accepted, be on the grid in the LMS next year. link

There's a story on EI saying that Bill Binnie's daughter has a serious disease, and because of it, they will not be racing at all this year. They hope to be back in 2009 though.

It's a bummer as they're one of my favorite endurance racing teams, but hopefully his daughter makes a quick recovery.

Its starting to sound like McNish may be one of the Audi LMS drivers. I know he wants to add an LMS championship to his belt. Seems like they wouldve kept the Beila/Pirro combo for LMS and let the other guys stay stateside.

Evidently the story that Aston Martin via Gordon Murray are working on a LeMans overall winner may be pre-mature. Robin Brundle (Aston Martin Racing Chairman) when queried about the subject Friday, at the Autosport International show, evidently said; No!

Looks like Reiter will run some LMS races in 2008 as well as FIA GT in their Lambo.

This is evidently not Reiter. Its reportedly a Russian team running Reiter built and engineer supported cars and will have Peter Kox as one of the drivers. link

Well it seems that the trimmed entry list will end up with about 30 Protos and 20 GTs according to what Cotton has heard. So most of the trimming will come from the GT-2 class it looks like. link
