Well it looks like even though Karim Ojjeh will not be in the Barazi-Epsilon Zytek next year that a Zytek will still be in Gulf livery in 08. As Ojjeh has purchased a Zytek.

LARBRE COMPETITION has signed an agreement with ORECA establishing its 2008 GT sporting programme with two FORD SALEEN S7Rs.
LARBRE COMPETITION’s ethos is to always compete at the highest level in GT racing and therefore it’s fitting that the Val de Vienne based-team will race the best performing cars on the grid in 2008.
LARBRE COMPETITION and ORECA have already worked successfully together on large projects in the past, achieving two titles in the FIA GT World Championship in 2001 and 2002 with the DODGE VIPER GTSR.
Hugues DE CHAUNAC and Jack LECONTE are therefore delighted to be working together again on this new project, with a fantastic two car programme in the following:
- 2008 French GT FFSA Championship
- 2008 Le Mans 24 Hours
- 2008 Le Mans Series Championship
Larbre Competition is also working on racing at the 24 Hours of Spa and is eagerly anticipating a return to the Ardennes.
The driver line-up presentation is planned for 22nd January.
So if Audi does run 2 cars in the LMS as announced;
Quote:
Audi plans to enter two cars in the American Le Mans Series and the Le Mans Series in Europe through Audi Sport North America in the USA and Reinhold Joest's team in Europe. "Stable regulations with the clear positioning of the LM P1 sportscar as top category and good TV marketing in Europe are conditions for Audi's factory involvement in both of the Le Mans series," explains Head of Audi Motorsport Dr Wolfgang Ullrich.
providing that the T.V. package is acceptable, who will be in the Joest cars? 6 drivers are named as R-10 pilots that do not have conflicting DTM schedules. 4 of those are going to be ALMS drivers and I would think only ALMS/LeMans as the ALMS/LMS has 3 directly conflicting races also. I am guessing that McNish/Dindo and Werner/Luhr will be in the ALMS so that leaves Biela and Pirro as possible Joest pilots. So will they be split and have young guns teamed with them or will they be paired and a new driving duo introduced for the 2nd Joest car?
