| In the pipeline?? Possible future NSX GT car? In a current interview with G.Kirby, Robert Clarke said; Quote: |
"We've already entered a phase of doing multiple projects at the same time," Clarke added. "Before, we were Champ Car only, or IRL only. Now we've entered a time of doing IRL and ALMS, but now we're looking at multiple programs within ALMS and going into P1 and beyond that. There's a possible Evo program and the potential of racing the new NSX and other racing programs in motorcycle and other kinds of grass-roots racing that are on our longterm vision plans. But the company is lacking some serious project management skills to be able to handle all that and Eric can bring those skills to HPD.

Also, bless Mazda for being so very, very active in racing. I think Mazda's racing presence here in the US that might be pushing Honda to do more.
I would love to see a GT NSX. It would be even better if it were GT1 car. |

| F430 'ADAC' to be run by Fahrschulen Academy Racing by 2009. The F430 ADAC (quasi GT-1) will be an entirely new car not an evolution, per se, of the current GT-2 model. Michelotto seeing the project as a good way to prepare for the new/future GT regulations. link

| I really hope GT1 doesn't go away but, sadly, I think its' days are numbered I like the idea of 2 GT classes. |

| The MC12 replacement at Maserati for GT? Maserati / Touring Superleggera A8GCS Berlinetta ( link), which is based on the out going GranSport Coupé. Maserati is trying to up their production #'s and a car in this price range could help ( link). Also with the 4.2L V8 it could be a nice segue, with a small amount of work, into a homologated engine for a future P-2 (get the feet wet) project?

| Thanks for the link. Not sure what I think of the Lexus, I guess time will tell on how it looks. We need Mazda to bring on the Furai, now that would be cool. |

Which fits better with the Mazda grass roots base philosophy and would allow them to run a GT program that could parallel the BK Mazda program and reap the benefits of the development of the MZR-R program and transfer it back to the grass roots!

| Definitely agree with you there, it is to bad that the Grand Am Rx-8 has so little based on the actual car. I hope Mazda continues to develop and race the rotary engine, if they could package and sell that would be awesome. The new 16x motor if it ever makes into production might be a more viable candidate for packaging but time will tell on that one. |
