Default Corsa??

I know the Corsa effort is supposed to be one car but in the press release yesterday it contained:
Quote:
Corsa Motorsports
Founded in 2005, Corsa Motorsports is the only professional motorsports team based in Utah. The team operates from a 9,000 square-foot race services and technical facility. Corsa Motorsports owns two Ferrari 430 LMGT cars and will field them in the GT2 class of the American Le Mans Series. Another Corsa Motorsports initiative is to provide technical race car tuning and performance services for custom race cars beginning in the summer of 2008. The team is owned and operated by Utah commercial real estate developer Steve Pruitt.
Is this a spare car or has anyone heard a budget is being put together or is already in place for the second? If so, what drivers?

I hope Steve's got other investments besides real estate.

Corsa clearly had 2 F430's at the WDWT. It would make sense to race the second if it had partial funding, it makes no sense to me to have 2 complete cars for a one car effort. Am I missing something? Is he looking for a budget for the second?

With the problems that only having one car caused the team last year I find that somewhat enigmatic.

After the issues they had last year I understand fully but you don't see any of the other 1 car GT2 teams with another complete car or any of the prototypes for that matter if I'm not mistaken.

I wondering how the #61 went from puke green to red so often I thought Mr. Krohn owned the 3rd car. None of the single car efforts had a complete second did they?

AFAIK, they just slapped on the puke green vinyl onto the red #61, but it was the same chassis. I'm pretty sure the car run at Sebring was used only at Sebring and Le Mans and the rest of the year a new car was used.

As far as single car efforts having multiple cars, I know B-K has 2 Lolas.

Thanks WMUCarGuy. Do you know if the Risi and Corsa Ferraris are getting a 2008 update? They appeared not to have the '08 aero like the Tafel cars did at WDWT.

I'm pretty sure both have ordered brand new 08 chassis, they just hadn't recieved them in time for the Sebring test.
