Most people prefer to take someone at their word until proven otherwise. If you wish to cast doubt on Greg Loles and his statement in an interview with Janos Wimpffen I guess that is your prerogative. But when the owner of an existing team says; Quote: |
“The sponsorship is in place and we will run two professional drivers in one car with one professional and one top rank amateur in the other. The possible third car will also be a pro-gentleman setup.”
| I personally would tend to take that as an affirmation of participation. Granted some times things change, and they very well could here. But there has been no indication that there is any reason to doubt this statement from Loles other than some skeptic's meanderings! Farnbacher Loles is a very well established racing entity in the uber Porsche machine and races in several series and is now aiming at the ALMS. Loles is a well established credible person, and I for one will take him at his word.

Maybe name calling flies over on the ALMS board ... but it won't fly here. Please leave it over there. If you don't agree with something... just say you don't agree and state your reasons.
Thank you.

Besides, I didn't aim it at anyone in particular anyways...

| Or, you could have phrased it differently so that it didn't sound so much like a personal attack. We are all friends here with a shared passion. There should and will be heated debates on different subjects, especially rumors. Collectively, we don't know it all and people will make opinions sound like facts. Pointing out that we don't know it all is OK. Calling people "know it alls" is a bit different.
Back on topic. What do you guys think about Mariantic's post on the Lexus? |

| Anybody think this "Aston Martin Endurance Racing Announcement" could be Prodrive announcing they'll return to the ALMS in 08?
We know they're unveiling the Vantage GT2 car, but we've already seen the car, and heard of at least 1 team running them already, so I don't see that as too much of an announcement. |

| Strengthening the rumor of Peugeot for Sebring and PLM is the fact that they are now entered for the WDWT. link
