Now it seems that Farnbacher has 3 Porshes up for sale including a 997, does this mean that they may be going the Italian Stallion route?
I'm sure you know this by now, but I'm using this as a test first post

The Porsches advertised on DSC are Pierre Ehret's cars, one is the current one, now en route to Mil Milhas, the other two have been on sale for a long while.

I agree Farnbacher Ferrari does sound odd, did Greg Loles really say that? was he kidding?

Further to the Farnbacher story, Pierre Ehret has just bought the 2 Tafel 997s (clearing the decks for 430s)

See (free) DSC

The #73 car is added to the other 3 in the "For Sale" section, presumably the other will be run by Farnbacher in either ALMS or LMS

The statement can be found @ DSC in an article by Janos Wimpffen from the Grand Am race reports from MMP (Utah) titled; Friday Report (Qualifying etc.). The second paragraph from the end. And yes Greg Loles mentions Ferrari. But with all the business ties to Porsche one would think that it was 'made in passing'... but...?

Not sure, but thought with all the current cross series semi declarations that it just might be. Or maybe a GT-2 DBS. (?)

DSC just added another story featuring the car. It's a "Generic test car" that may become a GT2 car, but it's being used to test bed new parts for the car for now.

Peugeot to skip the LMS and run the majors(?) of the ALMS if Audi does not run the LMS in 08.

LMS wishes to run @ Interlagos next year.
The overseas (flyaway) race next year could see some provisos imposed on the teams for not showing.
1) Teams required to sign up for the whole season w/ putting up a bond that would be forfeited.
2) Would be a double points race. (this would probably require a exclusion in the rules for the grid size vs points scale)
3) If a team has already clinched they must compete or be DQ'ed (just as champions or completely?)

Hugh de Chaunac said that the ACO will make the 2010 regulations official in two weeks.

via Motors TV report by David Legangneux.
