Suunds like 2 cars for Sebring and Petit but if I am translating correctly it sounds that he is saying they are preparing for the ALMS Season as they are not happy with conflicting dates of the LMS with F1. I used Google translate.

Well I speak no French and rely on the unreliable google myself. But to me it seems that he is not affirming the ALMS (season) but disputing the LMS with the F-1 schedule conflict. It is a little curious as it conflicted this year as well, but that may be the impetus that is driving the statement. Maybe they wish to have more exposure via the tv than what they are achieving going against the F-1 broadcast.

The article said that Peugeot will have for sure 2 car at Sebring. It is quoted also that because of the conflicting dates between F1 and LMS schedule, Peugeot is not sure to do all the LMS season.
I also read in another interview that Peugeot appreciate ALMS and this interview suggest that we can see some Peugeot in ALMS eslwhere that Sebring in 2009.

Yes, as 'Canada ALMS fan' wrote and you also put forth, I also believe we will see them for more tha just Sebring. At Petit, and I wish for Laguna, but... I find it a little more difficult to believe they would ship cars over mid season for a race, and do not believe that they would forego the LMS season to race in the ALMS.

I wonder if we will see Peugeot come over for a partial season and not just Sebring? Autosport, who is usually quite accurate is reporting:
autosport.com - Le Mans News: Peugeot: Sportscars not F1 the future
The interesting quote is: "We will continue in sportscars next year, but we don't yet know how many races we will do or in what championship. We will announce everything in January."
Sebring, Road America, Petit, Laguna Seca would be a good fit.

I'd expect something along those lines. They have clearly said that they will not continue in LMS unless Audi returns. Audi will not, so where else will they get top-level factory competition? ALMS with Acura...

My guess would be Sebring, Petit and Laguna at the minimum, and possibly with the hybrid (post Le Mans?).. Then a three-car attack at Le Mans again.

We'll have to wait and see. They will be announcing their endurance program in January.

That would be a big boost for the series IMO if they do run the hybrid in the ALMS after Le Mans. Do you think they may do a full season with 1 car to try to win the championship with 2 cars for the biggies? I can't see them wanting to do the street courses but one can dream.

With the hybrids being scored in the ALMS, it might entice them to come with it to Sebring +. There will be another hybrid racing the full season next year in Corsa, so maybe they will come and try against them head to head with a single HY. (?)

The thought about racing against another hybrid had entered my mind but a couple of questions come up. First, how far along is the development of the 909HY? Second, would Peugeot want to show Audi (and Acura) their hand so soon seeing as the 909HY ultimately will be for a Le Mans 2010 assault?
