CORSA MOTORSPORTS JAZZED ABOUT PROMOTION AT ENERGYSOLUTIONS ARENA IN SALT LAKE CITY
Ahead of the teams fourth place finish in the Tequila Patrón ALMS at Long Beach race, its second in as many races, the team Displayed its Car and Race Transporter outside the EnergySolutions Arena in Salt Lake City for the Jazz’s game against the Denver Nuggets on Saturday, April 12 in an effort to promote next month’s race when the Series makes a turn for Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele.
“I love the American Le Mans Series and I want nothing more than to help it grow and create awareness in the Salt Lake City market about our team and the effort the Series is making at Miller Motorsports Park,” said Steve Pruitt, team owner and principal. “By tapping into a solid fan base like that of the Utah Jazz, I think we can help strengthen the Larry H. Miller Dealerships Utah Grand Prix presented by The Grand and Little America Hotels and create more visibility for the facility and ALMS in addition to educating locals about this style of racing.”
Corsa Motorsports will take its team transporter and its No. 18 F430 LMGT and No. 48 Ferrari F430 LMGT to the arena, where its set-up will be on display for the fans (as time allows). Corsa will also provide the display for some of the Jazz’s other home playoff games as its racing schedule allows. The Jazz's next home playoff game is
scheduled for Thursday Apr. 24th at 8:30 p.m. MDT.
“Steve Pruitt and Corsa Motorsports have been a great supporter of Miller Motorsports Park and the Larry H. Miller Utah Grand Prix presented by The Grand and Little America Hotels,” said Alan Wilson, CEO and General Manager of Miller Motorsports Park. “They are, for all intents and purposes, our ‘home team’ and part of the Miller Motorsports Park family. We appreciate them being part of our Miller Motorsports Park Night promotion at the EnergySolutions Arena, and I know the fans will be excited to see their beautiful Ferrari racing cars.”
Miller Motorsports Park will host Round 4 of the American Le Mans Series Sunday, May 18 when cars take the track for the Larry H. Miller Dealerships Utah Grand Prix presented by The Grand and Little America Hotels. The 180-minute race is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. MDT.
