RISI COMPETIZIONE LOOKING FOR A DOUBLE

Houston, Texas, June 4, 2009. Risi Competizione returns to France next week for its 2009 assault on the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans with just one simple, but momentous, challenge ahead; to repeat the dominant GT2 success achieved at La Sarthe twelve months ago.

The Houston, Texas-based team, linked again for Le Mans with its endurance partner, Krohn Racing, has retained many of the elements within the 2008 winning package including the race-proven and reliable Ferrari F430 GT Berlinetta, created by Ferrari SpA with final build by Michelotto. Add to that the extremely consistent and successful Michelin tire package, a largely-unchanged driver line-up, and a team which has now recorded GT2 class victories at the last three major endurance races...

Darren Law will travel about 15,000 miles to compete in three very different sports-car races on two continents in the next few weeks. He will warm up with a six-hour endurance race in New York, follow with his first start in les 24 Heures du Mans in France, and finish with a two-hour 45-minute race in Ohio.

Law will leave his Phoenix home on June 4, heading east to compete in the six-hour Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series race at Watkins Glen International in Watkins Glen, N.Y., on June 6. He'll drive to New York City the next day to board an overnight flight to Paris. Switching from plane to train, he'll catch the high-speed connection to Le Mans, where the action starts with technical inspection, team photos and fan activities on his arrival day, June 8.

Setting the fastest laps in class along the way, Guy Cosmo and co-driver John Baker, took the #47 Orbit Racing GT3 Porsche Challenge car to a second place finish for the inaugural running of the Challenge class at the 2009 American Le Mans Series, Larry H. Miller Dealerships Utah Grand Prix. The even was held at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah on Sunday, May 17, 2009.

TOOELE, Utah — The driving duo of Gil de Ferran and Simon Pagenaud were unmatched Sunday in the Larry H. Miller Utah Grand Prix, the fourth race on the 2009 American Le Mans Series.

Coming off their first ALMS overall win at Long Beach last month, de Ferran and Pagenaud showed phenomenal speed throughout the weekend with a new qualifying mark Saturday by Pagenaud and a dominating performance Sunday in the No. 66 de Ferran XM Radio Acura ARX-02a sports car at Miller Motorsports Park.

The victory for de Ferran Motorsports was an anniversary present for the team, as the Brownsburg, Ind.-based squad made its ALMS debut at Utah last year, finishing third overall in an LMP2 Acura ARX-01b.
